A Mac(k) Curatorial - The Lower Haight

Me and Bobby Mack teamed up for a little Lower Haight Art Appreciation Walk. Bobby's been stationed in the neighborhood for over a decade and I've been coming and going from the place for about seven years. A lot of the art in this neighborhood comes and goes too. Below is a taste of of some of the aesthetic pleasures we enjoyed on our walk.

GATES & DOORS

Looks like lightning

PAINTINGS

Sun illuminated head dress

Dogs & Hydrant

SCULPTURES

A series of house chairs in bronze

MISC.

Tree in bondage

Past & Present Wishy Washy

The Princess & The King

Store front window illuminated at night

Mirrored mosaic entryway

ADDED BONUS: some of Bobby's older images of neighborhood art that no longer exists and are fondly remembered.
